This black-and-white orangery is located in Sweden. It’s a metal construction of 24 square meters with wooden floor and black façade. The designer is the owner, Agneta Enzell, and she put the orangery in several meters from her own house. She says that it’s a unique place for listening to the rain or enjoy the nature during dinner. Why is it black-and-white? First of all, these colors are calm and classical for Scandinavian design and second – the green plants and colorful flowers look better on the calm and not bright background. You may use such an orangery not only for the flowers but also as a study or a garden house for relaxation.

A Beautiful House With A Courtyard In Mendoza

This house is called Casa Codina and was created by A4estudio. It is located in Mendoza, Argentina. The project was made green, optimizing weather conditions. The house is built around a big central courtyard, the main spaces are opened to a larger garden. The public area are oriented to the north, the private spaces are oriented to the east and service areas – to the west. Everything in the house is made from the point of view of natural ventilation and moving of the air masses due to the hot climate in Argentina. The structure of the house is built of concrete, wood, aluminum and different boards. The wood is unusual, it’s called guatambu. Some walls can change their look according to the light.

Italian designerGiorgia Zanellato created a vase collection called Narciso. Why such a name? Because this vase gives you an opportunity to enjoy the whole beauty of any flower, even the simplest and the smallest one. It’s done thanks to cleverly-positioned mirrors. There are six different vases made of borosilicate glass, powder-coated alluminium and mirrored stainless steel. You can draw attention to the flowers, display them and enjoy the natural beauty. We’ve seen many original vases – inspired by different times, things and kinds of art. These vases are provocative and almost surreal. This ceramic vase called Shaky by Enzyma is abstract, characterized by a clear geometry, which places it beyond time and specific space. The shape is cylindrical, stretched, with an arc, and this asymmetry creates a feeling of instability. The balance is guaranteed by a metallic weight placed in the bottom.
